Also, look into MOMS Clubs. There are chapters all over the country, so chances are, you have one near you. There are probably lots of local moms groups, too. You might try going to your public library and ask about storytime sessions for babies. You can meet other moms that way, too.

Check with your local YMCA. They have many options!

Hospitals often have mommy groups where mothers with their infants get together and talk about their babies. There might be a nurse to facilitate the group. Otherwise there aren't too many play groups for infants.
