We did this for my nieces & nephews- had each one write something they admired about each of the others. We framed them and they all still have them- 6 years later!
I have a thought to have the kids of the class write what they are thankful for when it comes to the teacher.
I want to take all the quotes and do something fun for a keep-sake for the teacher. I am thinking of Modge Podge the
quotes on something........ or tye them somehow on a wreath or something......... any ideas???

Ok, get them printed in a fun manner and have them transfered to Iron on paper and apply them to a Shirt or a Canvas Tote with the year and kid's names on the inside of the bag ... quotes on the outside.
How about cutting out a colorful paper in a leaf shape and have a quote on it.Must write in a colorful pen. Then have it attach to a lay out with a shape of a giant tree.Cuz teachers are like a growing structure of a tree and the students are like a leaf. Then have it frames.
I think this is great. You can handwrite them on a colored scroll of paper with a gold pen...or something. They always come up with the funniest things to say.
Totebag!!
Wall art - use different fonts (and different colors and sizes - mix it up!) for each child's quote and arrange them in a frame.
Our school does things like that for teacher appreciation week in the spring. Not sure what grade these kids are in? You could have them write something and then draw a picture to go with it and put it in a binder with clear plastic pages. You can have the kids lay on the floor and spell out the letters " thank you" with their bodies and take a picture of each letter to spell out thank you to put with the sayings.
Ok, so I had to laugh when I saw "Modge Podge". My friend and I have noticed how everyone calls it that, when it's called Mod Podge. So I literally laughed out loud when I saw someone actually write it out that way. : )
Now for an idea, this same friend makes clip boards for teachers by mod-podging different pieces of scrapbook paper to just a plain wood clipboard and then tying ribbons to the metal clip to make it extra cutesy. You could mod podge the sayings on top of the scrapbook paper so the teacher can actually use what you make. I hope my description makes sense?
I'm sure whatever you decide on doing will be appreciated by the teacher just by the thoughtfulness. Have fun!
