My daughter is eleven years old and a level 9 gymnast. We are doing a golf tournament fundraiser and
are having a hard time finding silent auction and raffle items.
Anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

What can I do next?

hit the pavement.....seriously, just stop in and talk with local businesses and see if they'd be willing to donate an item or gift card. We're doing a silent auction also and I've been hitting up anyone I can think of (hairstylists, grocery stores, restaurants, etc.)

One thing I've always thought was fun was having people make a basket of whatever for the silent auction. One school near us does that, like, someone will make a wine and cheese basket or someone will make a "spa" basket with lotions and bath stuff. Or gift certificates to dinner and a movie with popcorn and candy.

Some fun ideas can be found at www.ptotoday.com. Do a search on auction items. You have some great ideas for solicited donations already.
One of my favorites is the dessert auction. You can do it as a live auction or silent auction. Each family makes a dessert (one family made homemade Ding Dongs) for auction.
Baskets also work well. Come up with a few themes and each family can contribute something to the basket (thrift shops often have baskets). Examples are sports, garden, art, etc.

Good luck!
