My son is only 6 months, so I don't have a ton of things to donate yet, but certainly have a few. I live in Oak Park near Med Center, so not too far. Best way to reach me is ###-###-####.

Hi,
My foster daughter is 20, pregnant and her baby boy is due at the end of April. I have helped this sweetie since she was about 8, she is an orphan and has only a crib. I have a carseat and have picked up several items here and there but I am asking if anybody has any used clothing, sheets, towels, we would be so very grateful. She has no real family and we are all doing what we can to help her.

Freecycle is also a good option.
You login to your local group and check the offers/place a request.
Here's the main website: http://www.freecycle.org/
Just put in the same request you put in on this website.
I got a lot of non-work maternity clothes this way, and passed them on to MSJH's program. They also have a lot of maternity clothes, baby clothes, etc.
The Mother's Support Network also has used baby clothes, it's about $1/onesie and other used clothes and maternity clothes, blankets, crib sheets, etc. I also bought my sling there, it was made by a SAHM member.
Other than that, I'd help if I could, but I purge my daughter's goods every month to make room for more (I get lots of hand me downs, and we give away as much as we get. It's a great system, and saves tons of money.)
Oh, and I bought nice crib sheets at the Hospice Thrift at 33rd and Folsom.
Good luck!!!
please e-mail me and let me know where i can drop some baby things at.

Hi M. -
I have two little girls, but I do have some stuff (pjs, blanket & toys) that can be used for a boy...I'm just not sure how far you are from me (downtown Sac.)?
Adventure church has a baby boutique where your foster daughter can pick out all kinds of things she needs. It provides new and gently used items including clothes, strollers, cribs and many other things to help her. It occurs the 3rd Sat every other month from 8:30 am to 10:30 am. The next one is May 17. I hope this helps.
This is something that my church (Adventure Christian Church) does. The next date is May 17th. The church web site is www.adventurechristian.org. The contact information is 6401 Stanford Ranch Rd. Roseville, CA 95678 ###-###-####. I hope that this helps.
Baby Boutique
The Baby Boutique is a ministry for expectant teens or mothers facing financial hard times. It provides new and gently used items necessary for the proper care of both mother and baby, at no cost. This can include baby clothes, strollers, cribs, changing tables, and other baby items.
Above and beyond meeting the physical needs of our families we are committed to their spiritual needs too. Bibles, prayer cards and information on ACC resources is a must to truly reaching out to our community.
The Boutique occurs on the 3rd Saturday of every other month, from 8:30AM until approximately 10:30AM.
Hi M.,
Normally, I craigslist items (we craigslist to raise money for our high medical bills and usually split our loot 50/50 between medical and a vacation fund; pay the medical debts and catch a break, that's our goal). However, I would be happy to give your foster daughter the nursery bedding set that hasn't sold on craigslist (I can't post a photo and no one wants to buy it blind). It's no loss to me because it hasn't sold. It's a Carter's bedding set of pastel baby jungle animals and is complete (bumpers, comforter, blanket, sheets), also including 3 wall hangings, a spare blanket, and a waterproof crib pad. The bumper has tie strings and some are missing, but it's all free if you want it. It's really nice, too. If you are interested, just let me know.
I live near Sunrise Mall but am often in Natomas for my son and Roseville for medical (for all of us). I'm also in midtown for medical, but not as often as Roseville --will be next week, though. If you email, we can arrange for midtown next week maybe?
And, congrats foster grandma,
M.
