I would sell them on Ebay. It costs a little but it's worth it if you want to actually make money on them. If you don't know how go on there and find an assistant in your area they will list it for you for a flat rate fee. Good luck R.
We live in Odenton, and are looking for an inexpensive way to sell a king size bedroom set and a pool table. I tried Craigslist but the responses we got were distasteful to say the least. Not sure if a newspaper ad would be any better.
Any suggestions?

Hey L.,
Sorry to hear about your luck on CL...maybe you could try the Penny Saver or check in the Phone book for consignment shops that buy used goods. Good luck.
I'd be interested in more details about the King Sized Bedroom set & pics. We've been looking, but so far haven't found what we're looking for.

Try ebay. Take good pictures of the items and post them.
Start the bidding at the LEAST amount you would take for the item(s). Yes, you will pay a listing fee and a final value fee - but you will get rid of them.
You can also state LOCAL PICK UP ONLY. Please feel free to contact me directly and I can and will help you do this.
I'm sorry that craigslist did not work for you. I've not had any problems with craigslist but there are nut-jobs out there.
Hope this helps!
Cheryl
Try the local Pennysaver magazine. It does not cost a lot, and it does get results.
