Weight Watchers can help you lose weight in a much safer way! You can consistantly lose 2 pounds a week without the side effects of weight loss pills. When I tried them I was shaky and irritable. I also had a hard time sleeping. I definitely don't recommend them.

I don't know anything about alli, but I did use Weight Watchers a couple of years ago and lost fifteen pounds by just altering my eating habits. I was very pleased with the results. I was actually thinking about joining again to lose my post baby bulge.

I read some articles about this diet pill, which I myself was thinking of trying, info was not to promising. They say it makes you have oily bowlmovements, and if you don't mind that, it still doesn't do much of a difference (goal 10 lbs. you lose 15 lbs. and only if you follow a well balanced diet). So for more info search web for side affects and results of alli. Good Luck!!!

Hi, R.,

I did some research on Alli because I was thinking of taking it.

What Alli basically does is block your body from absorbing fats.
It's got 1/2 the active ingredient of Orlistat, which is the prescription drug the doctors dispense.

In order to take the Alli properly, you have to modify your diet to make it very low fat.

The side effects of the pill were enough to put me off taking it, to be honest. The website GSK (pill manufacturer) put together says to be sure to bring a change of clothes with you to work because you may experience oily discharge and fecal incontinence.

I'd honestly rather follow a low fat, reduced carbohydrate diet on my own without messing up my pants or having oily stools with stomach cramps. The pills do not guarantee weight loss. The pills only block the fat. It sounds nasty to me.

I plan on signing up for Weight Watchers, myself. It's a sensible diet with good advice that is natural.

Check the website out for yourself, though - and read everything.

Good luck in whatever you decide.
