Santa Rosa has one at the Vets center year round on Wed mornings and Sat mornings. You could also look into a CSA, I've recently heard about these and they sound pretty neat.
It's official! The Novato Farmer's market comes to an end next week and I'm sad. I've become a produce snob! Are there any other farmer's markets or local farms that carry produce all year long? I'm not so much concerned with what is being sold, but that it's the local seasonal produce. Thanks! :)
Thank you!!! I feel so much better knowing that there are markets all year round up here. :) I'm sure I will wander around the San Rafael farmer's market. It's close by.

San Rafael has a Farmer's Market on Thursday and Sunday mornings at the Civic Center.
Hi fellow Novato Mom!!
I have heard wonderful things about Anderson's Organic Farm and Mr. Green's Farm Fresh Produce
located on Petaluma Blvd across from the entrance to the outlets.
Hours: M-Sat 10-7; Sun 10-6
Currently, they have approx 50% organic, mostly from their organic farm on
Bodega Ave in Petaluma. Approx 25% of the produce is local (Sonoma
County)and the remainder is from California.
They will soon also be carrying local breads - Full Circle Bakery, and
local jams/jellies. They also have local packed tuna.
They accept cash or checks only.
Hope you get a chance to check it out!
