Its a Puddle Jumping Day!!

I had bus duty at work this morning and the sitter asked that the girls NOT wear their rainboots today (they have worn them constantly for 5 days straight). I got to the school at 7:25 and 10 min later is was darker than when I woke. The rain came down hard and fast and was blowing so hard it was battering the door that are 10 feet under the overhang. Then the hail. This is all on the 3rd day of state tests.
Yes, I would rather be at home with my girls, in their new rain boots, jumping in puddles. (or taking a nap!) Maybe we will find some puddles this afternoon.

I did this last year with my daughter, and will do it again when it gets warmer

This sounds fun. I am going to try it with my 2 year old. Thank you fr a new fun, low tech, let's be together activity.

I used to take the kids out on rainy days when they were little for a walk, some Puddle Jumpin' and Tree Shakin'!

Well, no. It's 92 and super sunny today. There won't be puddle jumping here for months. Soooo not ready for the hot summer!!
