J C Penney Portrait Studio???

Hi, M.! I'm with you. I'm not too sure on any good portrait studios, however, I am also inclined to say that JCPenney may be a good choice. I have a three month old little girl and tomorrow she will have her first professional portraits at JCPenney portrait studio. I was drawn to them because of their nice backgrounds, props, and coupons that I found online. Check them out and see what you think. Just go the the JCPenney main page and select portrait studio. The quality of the pictures look good so I hope I do like them. Check back with me again tomorrow and I'll let you know how it went. Also, I'll be going to the JCPenny at Valley View Mall near the Galleria here in Dallas. Goodluck!

I have used the JC penny studio at the smaller mall by the Galleria (I can not remember the name), I had two good experiences and one not so good. I think it depends on the person taking the pictures. One really good thing is that they always have really good coupons!

We've had family pictures taken at JC PENNEY-Cedar Hill in October 2006. The service was good and the pictures came out great. I also like Sears; the one at Parks Mall is better than Southwest Center Mall.

JC Penney in Cedar Hill is not great. A friend of mine took her daughter there, the photographer made her daughter cry and wasn't patient and after the pics were taken and she was previewing them, she walked out they were so bad... Poor quality, and customer service. I used JC Penney in the Parks Mall and so does she... I have never had a bad session or photo taken there and we have used them for the past 2yrs.

I actually responded about my husband and I being photographers, but I do also work for JCPenney corp headquarters, and I've heard the studios are good!!
