Hello and Happy 4th of July, I am a little concerned because I was on vacation last week and yesterday and Friday I was riding jet skiis. I felt I thought was startmy period but it was just heavy discharge. I came home and took a pregnacy test and found it to be positive. I am afraid that because I didn't know soon enough riding jet skiis could affect my pregnacy... Since it is so recent is it at high risk?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

I am not sure if it's me just being paranoid but I am feeling minor sharp pains in my lower right abdominal area, and after riding the jet skis I was just afraid that I affected my pregnacy... Are paind normal when pregnant? they aren't constant, they come and go..

Riding jet skis very early in pregnancy is NOT harmful.

I am not a medical professional, but I think the reason they don't want pg ladies doing things like riding jet skis is about the risk of falling and causing miscarriage or preterm labor. So my guess is you are probably ok :)
Congrats!

If you didn't fall or injure yourself, I'm sure you're okay. Just riding the jet ski is fine...probably not something you should continue doing throughout the pregnancy, though, in case of injury.

I think you are fine...congrats!! Small bleeding and some mild cramping can be perfectly normal. If you are doubling over or feeling like you need to take a pain reliever for the cramps...that may be a problem. But mild cramps and irritating ones are normal for some women. And remember...if things dont go the way you want them to, fate is fate and please do NOT beat yourself up over it. Everything happens for a reason...congrats!! : - )

If the discharge stopped you are probably okay. If you start to feel cramping or see bleeding from 'there' call a doctor or the ER and ask them what you should do.

If you can avoid an ER visit today I would. It's probably either a zoo or dead quiet until later, then it will be a zoo. Holidays tend to bring out the crazies and irresponsible or drunks who get hurt and run to the ER.

Congrats
