JFF: Bucket List

I just finished reading the mamapedia article about a mom reading her daughter's bucket list. (read it here http://www.mamapedia.com/voices/lessons-from-my-child-tic...)

It made me think, what would be on my bucket list? Maybe it's time I sit down and make one now that I'm in my *gasp* 30's. :-)

What would you put (or already is) on your bucket list?

What can I do next?

Hi Mama,

I really enjoyed the article on the little girl's bucket list. But you are far from being ready to write one yourself. The Bucket List has been around a long time. It comes from the expression "things to do before I kick the bucket". But most people don't "kick the bucket" until they are old. The movie "The Bucket List" with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman was wonderful. My point is that kids should be calling these lists just "To Do" lists, and save the "Bucket List" for older folks like me (66). It's a great idea for anyone to make a list of things they'd like to do during their life. Putting your goals on paper is the first step to manifesting them. I didn't write my Bucket List until I was 60. I've only checked off one of them so far. I ran/walked a 5K sponsored by our local YMCA (came in 2nd in my class, but last overall). The other things on my list, which I expect to add to over the years to come, are: go skydiving, take a cruise, zipline NA & SA, maintain the full Lotus posture (yoga), memorize all the U.S. Presidents in chronological order, go tubing....

The list is a reminder to enjoy life and suck as much fun, satisfaction and rewarding experience out of it as you can.
