LovingLife G: are you my long lost twin? ;) We do all the same things to unwind.
I will also add: looking at food blogs and through cookbooks, and cooking. Too bad I hate the cleaning up part!!
Friday night- hubby is enjoying a boys night at a basketball game, so I've had both boys all day and night. I'm a little tired. Don't worry though. My girlfriends and o have a girls night next week. Anyhow... Chilling with wine, girl scout cookies, and a movie... What do you do to unwind??
If only I could get someone to cone to my house for a massage..... Aaahhh!! Ha ha ha!!
Sorry for my crappy typing- using iPhone not computer...... Darn thumbs!!

our guest room is setup with my scrapbooking supplies AND a tv.
That's my escape. Sometimes I even gate the door to keep the dogs out!
I do this. Hang out on Mamapedia, Facebook, Icanhascheeseburger.com, and onemorelevel.com. lol. I have no life. :P
Surf the net and look at houses ( imagining when I win the lottery I'll live in one those gorgeous homes , ;), watch a movie on Netflix, read if I find a good book lying around, and of course Mamapedia, and the most favorite thing to do for me is catching a quick nap if at all possible.
i actually stay up later then i should and just watch tv and surf the net and just chill out.
take a lonngggggg hot shower or bath and do my own "spa night" pampering myself. i'll watch a movie or read for awhile with classical music on.
email my friends
read a magazine
grab a book
go for a walk
have a glass of wine
treat myself to an online shopping purchase for me within a small budget
workout
a massage everyone blue moon. boy does that work
oh and every once in awhile.....plan a get together with the girls to laugh, bond and relieve stress. works wonders!
I stay up later (unless I have class the next morning) and watch a movie, hang on mamapedia, surf the net. Every now and then on weekends, I'll set up a group outings or get invited to one and have some me time while lil bit has some grandparents time :)
If I'm stuck at home, I take a bath, catch up on reading, watch tv, call my Mom, play DS....
Some of my friends just started a crafty dozen club. So, every month 1 lady hosts and has a craft project or everyone can just bring what they are working on. I missed the Jan. one but just went to the Feb. one and we made keychains with little owls and birds. It was so fun!
Other than that, I like to read novels, look on facebook, and scrapbook (but it's hard to find time with a 2 year old).
Occasionally, I get together with friends for coffee.
A lot of the girls I'm friends with don't have kids, so they plan fun stuff. There's a bookclub called Reading is Sexy. I read the books and never make the meetings. They also recently had a private little party called boobs and booze haha. They had a lingerie shop open it's doors after hours for them to have bra fittings. Most women supposedly wear the wrong size. Also, they wanted moral support for this awkward little moment. However, it didn't work out that well because the store forgot and didn't have any champagne or anything special for them.
Lastly, 3 friends and I are planning to do a girl trip one weekend a year. We had our first one in Santa Monica last year and it was great. We actually had a hook up with a photographer who did a mini shoot for us. It was fun.
I unwind on Mamapedia! LOL
I am a huge fans of computer games; I read a lot; I soak in a tub, and sometimes I watch complete mindless TV shows.
My son is scheduled to stay at friends house tonight and I plan to do all of these things.
I like to write, so I have my own blog. I also love to read a good book when I can get one.
oh man, i feel so much better about what i do after reading the responses b/c after the boy goes to bed, i'm online - banking, looking for houses for fun, of course on mamapedia, email, banking again, mamapedia again - back and forth for a couple hours. couple texts to my friends....then finally when i get sleepy i go to the couch for a little MORE unwinding....overall takes about 3-4 hours...how lame! i know! i'm trying to think of a more productive way to unwind, but this is just so easy & reliable! :)
