But the WORST, is when I see parents blantantly putting themselves before their kids.
Kids come first folks!!
What is your worst pet peeve?
I have a few ;)
But the WORST, is when I see parents blantantly putting themselves before their kids.
Kids come first folks!!
When a woman with long nails licks the food from under them while eating. Makes me want to vomit. UGH!
People who give no consideration to others they may be affecting with their actions (no signal when driving, taking up the whole aisle in the grocery store, walking through a door and then coming to a complete stop right in the way of everyone else trying to get in or out, driving in your blindspot etc...) People who don't use good manners. Those who are passive aggressive, especially those who are dissatisfied with service and then speak loudly about the service provider in front of the service provider. SOOOO rude! People who don't put themselves in someone else's shoes.
Bullies - of any age or variety.
Racism - can't stand it----so ugly.
The lack of basic manners like please, thankyou, excuse me.
People who treat workers in the service industry as actual servants instead of hard working people who are trying to do their best to make a life and feed their family.
Then, then little things:
Saying "nauseous" instead of "nauseated", as in "I am so nauseous." Nauseated means you feel sick, nauseous means you make others feel sick or cause nausea.
Saying, "he did a 360". Really? Then he's right back where he started.
Saying, "I could care less". Then you care too much.
The new word they use now in football, "trickeration." Heard it this weekend and it wasn't a one time thing. They just kept using it over and over again! It's not a word!! Mary J Blige sings one great song and people take it too far! It's "trickery"!
Stupid little stuff like that.
In the house, dirty socks folded inside-out and sitting on the floor instead of in the hamper. I hate having to reach into a dirty, sweaty, smelly sock to turn it right side in before putting it in the laundry and I really hate having to round up all the socks when we have a perfectly good laundry basket that's within easy reach for everyone! For some reason, the socks never make it inside!
Out of the home, people who change lanes without signaling their intent. That makes me grouchy.
Mine would be people who are so obsessed with their phones they can't function w/out it in their hands. I have a friend (I've said this before) who can not stop texting, surfing the web, updating her fb, etc. It drives me NUTS!!
There is a time and a place and sometimes we just need to put down the technology and see the real world!!! Talk to real people that doesn't involve OMG, LOL, etc!
Btw I'm living in the past and I don't have internet on my phone. :-)
Just about anything mentioned below...
However, for recent encounters, I'd add my mother and MIL thinking that everything they see on "The Dr's" HAS GOT TO BE TRUE and mentioning the show in every. single. conversation. Also, elderly women being EXTREMELY rude to me. 2 examples- 1) A woman trying to take the grapes out of one of my carts (I had 2 full) saying that she couldn't find those grapes and that I should go get some more (I was already almost done shopping and at the opposite end of the store. She had a hand carry basket with 3 items).
2) Getting screamed at by 2 older ladies next to me for answering my phone @ a red light and hanging up before the light turned green again... Because THAT's not distracting or anything. I WAS NOT TALKING WHILE DRIVING!!! They proceeded to scream at me for lighting a cigarette after I hung up my phone. No one else was in the car with me. All of my windows were down.... AND I AM AN ADULT!
Sorry. But thanks for letting me vent. ¦☽
ETA- People that wrongly judge those based on no 'real' reason. That can be a LOOOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGG list.
People driving with a phone clamped to their face.(i.e not handsfree)
flies - I really hate flies.
Eww, Lucia - I have never actually seen that, but ewww!
when things are not put back where they were gotten from. drives me nuts
my husbands dirty ishy chew habit. or anyones for that matter. Its just plain gross. Nasty. The worst is that he spits it into little pieces of paper and then lets them lay around. ARGH...
And people who HAVE to pick there nose in public. OMG barf. FINE everyone picks there nose, I dont care WHO you are, BUT if you dont use some discretion and your digging away for gold. EW go to the bathroom people
Fake people!!! Hands down.
Right now sitting here at 2am not being able to fall asleep because I can not shut the running list of "thigs to do" off. That is my personal pet peeve of myself (I am sure hubby will agree with this one).
My hubby not closing the dang door when he uses the bathroom, I really do not want to hear him poop... so unattactive, mainly because right afterwards he wants to make love... ummm FYI what I just heard totally did not put me in the mood.
Lately my biggest pet peeve of others is horrible driving, not using turn signals, cut people off, almost hitting me grrrrr. I usually have to keep reminding myself that I can not contorl what they do and only what I do so breath in the love push out the bad.
At home... well the typical eveyrthing is fall apart, stupid house (sink that the washer drains into got a clog, created a waterfall, made a mess, and on a week that I or hubby have no free time to deal with it)..That's Life!
1. Most especially, a woman chewing and popping her gum. My impression of her plumments when I witness this. It does not matter how stylish or grungy she is, popping gum to me (in public) is just gross and classless.
2. People who truly believe they know everything and feel superior. NO ONE is better than anyone else. We are all different, but no one is superior.
3. Rude drivers (road ragers) , ANYONE texting and driving, talking on the phone and driving. I drive in the Dallas area where traffic is a nightmare and I get tired of someone yapping or texting on the phone and almost hitting me. Your phone call is not that important.
4. Someone who cannnot live without their cell phone for 5 minutes. I mean really, it is like a phone is a pacifier. I run my business from home and rely on my cell but good grief, it is not attached to my hip!
5. People who feel the world revolves around them. "It's all about me" attitude.
Good question MamaLucky and some great answers so far!!
Grown women who talk like little girls!
Stupid people!
NEVER having 2 days off in a row!
When the toilet paper is not replaced and you walk into a bathroom and there is none... geee lol
And when a driver doesnt use his/her blinker...lol
People who cant drive!
People who can't figure out they can lock their cars w/o honking the horn!!@
Especially when you are standing next to it. People, push the button just once, trust me it works. Better yet hit the button inside the door.
Wow! Mine are the exactly what Kristen M. wrote below. We should start a club or give classes!!
When ppl interrupt me when I am talking. That is the worst.
Ignorant ppl
When I mention that I don't feel well or something hurts and someone says "you...what about me?" Irks me to no end.
When ppl pull out in front of me and crawl. Especially when there wasn't anyone behind me. You couldn't wait????
Know it all ppl. No matter what you say someone knows better.
When ppl think that life revolves around them.
I totally agree with Kristen M!! Her pet peeves seem to be my pet peeves as well.
lying and when people say they would get back to me about something and they don't.
For me clutter, I hate clutter, and the other is tardiness J.
