I've been trying to remain more positive and laugh at more things - I love to laugh - but life has been crazy busy....I do pay attention to my surroundings so these are things I didn't expect to see lately:

1. A man folding his laundry while he was driving - NO FREAKING KIDDING - pulled up next to him after wondering what was going on - and saw the basket of laundry in the passenger seat and he was picking things up and folding them!! (and I thought I had seen a lot or all....I've seen people shaving, reading the paper (waaaaaaayyy back when in Los Angeles) and putting on make-up...

2. A W. (I'd say in her 60's) driving a Tesla sports car - convertible - this seemed to be one of the older ones (1980's).

that's just for starters...so to help people laugh or just say "HUH"??? what's something (or some things) you didn't expect to see???

have a great day! Don't forget to laugh!

What can I do next?

Shortly after we moved to Austin, TX (having never been to Texas before), I was sitting outside our apartment, about 10:00 at night, when I heard two very angry male voices, obviously arguing heatedly, coming down the main city street that passes right by our apartment complex, just a mile from downtown. The voices were coming closer, but at a curiously slow pace. I expected it to be two young guys, fighting with each other, perhaps running after each other or running away from something. But they obviously weren't running, so I assumed maybe they were walking home having a fight on the way?

Then I heard another sound which I realized was horses' hooves. And then I saw the fighting guys. Right down the center of the city street came two cowboys, in leather chaps, beautifully tooled leather boots, embroidered shirts and huge Stetson cowboy hats, riding side by side on their horses, having the fight of their lives. They were screaming obscenities at each other, accusing each other of awful things, madder than hornets, and their horses were just plodding along, probably thinking what idiots their riders were.

Weirdest "road rage" I've ever seen.

There was this guy that used to work for a tax company nearby. He would stand on the corner and "dance" with his sign.....for 8 hours. I swear, every time I drove by he was dancing.
And he was AWFUL. Just awful. But he was having a great time and it made me smile.
I actually took a video of it and should send it to his main office. He was great.

My husband and I went to a small town up in the mountains to get out of the heat, we stopped at a thrift store. There was a W. probably in her 70's in there with shorts on and just her bra. She was buying a few things. I hope one of them was a shirt. lol What happens in small towns...stays in small towns.

I went to the ER with my BFF. She was already in a room and I had to go to the front desk in the ER to get her something. There was an old man there sitting in a wheel chair. He was a pretty big man, had on short-shorts and his old man privates where hanging out. When I got back to her room the nurse was in there and I told them I had been traumatized by seeing "old man balls". The nurse just laughed and said I couldn't imagine all the things she's seen working there. I believe it. lol

A guy I used to work with lived on his boat. He didn't want to keep his clothes there so he hung a rod in the back of his pickup and hung them there. I came back from lunch one day to find him sitting on the tail gate hanging things up and rearranging them - cleaning his closet.

Another guy I used to work with shaved at his desk. Gross.

The first time I saw an old yellow school bus (well, it wasn't yellow anymore, more faded grey or green) driving down the interstate -- with the top half (starting from just behind the driver's area) cut off. Seriously, open topped all the rest of the way down. Like a convertible, only there was no soft top to speak of anywhere, either. Most dilapidated thing you can imagine.

I've seen it a few times since, and once there was a "convoy" of about 4 of them in a row. I'm not exactly sure what it's all about. For some reason I imagine immigrant worker transportation to fields somewhere, but when I've seen them they've been empty except for the driver. It's a mystery.

Maybe somebody here has seen them and can tell me what it's all about. ?
