I love wearing perfume but often hate going to the stores to find a new fragrance. I get overwhelmed with all the choices so I thought I would ask...What is your favorite perfume?
My favorites are Tommy Girl, CK one and Rose by l'occitane

What can I do next?

If I wear it, its Poison by Dior. I have worn it for years and years and I get compliments from the fellas. Works for me.

I have issues with scents in general, but I really love a well worn cologne on a man or perfume on a woman!

when I wear perfume (which is not often because of so many people being allergic, so I only do it when I'm not going to meet the general public like date night at home cause my husband likes it) I use Elizabeth Arden green tea..

Baby Grace by Philosophy.
Like Spidermonkey...I like to smell Beautiful when I'm at the scent counters. Reminds me of my grandma. :)
And whenever I catch a whiff of Red Door, I think of my childhood BF.

Miss Dior Cheri. Also like the original gucci but never can find it anymore. I was just thinking the other day how in Jr. High the must have was sunflowers (sigh. I still think it smells nice but I just feel 13 when I smell it) Michael Kors Very Hollywood is nice too. I hate figuring out what new perfume to like too. I got a sampler of 8-10 from sephora that has a certificate for a full size from the sampler I like being able to wear the scent for a bit before I commit.

I love perfume too but alass I can not wear it. I did years ago and every time I found one that I loved it was discontinued within a year or two. In the past several years perfume no matter the cost gives me a headache and upset stomache. I have the same trouble with many body washes and lotions.

Now I use a blend of essential oils. I blend it myself and I don't tell anyone what is in it.

Emeraude is the one and only for me and has been for years, and is inexpensive.
Everything else, even though I may really like them fresh from the bottle, they change on me and I find them offensive and over powering, even slightest dab or spray.

K.,

Have you ever stepped into a Sephora? Talk about overwhelming! The wonderful thing about it though; I've gone in, telling one of the clerks there that I like more clean scents, they direct me to the perfumes I might like, and I walk out with samples. Now, I'm not the kind of person to take advantage of things given away for free, but this was fabulous! I felt so girly! I walked away with a small vial of Happy Heart (Clinique, I think) Pure (DKNY) and Provence (Clean). Some of the ones I sampled smelled just like dyer sheets though. But talk about an uber-girly thing to do. My sister and I were just there and I was so much fun! I never get to do stuff like that!

I love Champs Elyse, but it doesn't smell good with my body so I don't wear it. I usually wear Beautiful, but every once in a while my husband talks me into White Charlie or Exclamation, but I love the classic Beautiful. I hope that helps. Remember that just because it smells good doesn't mean it smells good with you. Oh, and my mom used to wear Opium, but now both of us are allergic to it.

Shalimar is my favorite. Unfortunately, it is not sold any more. Guerlain went out of business. I have a bottle that I use sparingly. There is another
called, Emeraude (sp?), that is close to it, but not quite it. Why my Shalimar
runs out not sure what I will do.

My favorite is Beyzance by Rocha but it is hard to here in the states. So I now have White Linen by Este Lauder and The One by Dolca Cabana (grandson picked it) and where it the most. Otherwise it is plain straight up soap and water for me.

Have a good day and do stop and smell the roses along the way.

I love fragrances, but lately I haven't been wearing the commonly available commercial perfumes -- I've been getting essential oil blends from Black Pheonix Alchemy Lab (BPAL) -- check out their website -- they have an incredible selection of scents to choose from, and you can order samples of whatever you want before you commit to a full bottle. Their website is http://www.blackphoenixalchemylab.com/

My current faves of theirs are: Lilac Woods (in the Last Unicorn collection) -- Ageless trees, everblooming flowers, brilliant grass, and soft shadows. (okay, some of their descriptions are rather vague), Prague --Crocus with snowdrop and three lilies, and Bordello -- Bawdy plum with amaretto, burgundy wine and black currant.

Always love light blue by dolce and gabbana! I also wear sjp NYC, happy by Clinique, Vera Wang princess, very sexy by victoria's secret, Marc Jacobs, Michael by Michael kors, miss Dior Cherie, viva la juicy, vanilla apricot by I can't remember, Versace gold (I think?), and Bonnie bell skin musk and a million others but my current favorite is actually someday by Justin bieber! Was super surprised how much I liked it, and the guy at Nordstrom said many women like it, it smells super good!

I rarely wear perfume, most of it sends me into fits with allergies and asthma. And working in health care we're asked to keep it very very light. when I do wear it though my two favorites are Obsession by Calvin Klein or Haiku by Avon.

I also have to be careful because the acidity level in my skin is a little higher than normal so a LOT of perfumes that smell great in the bottle stink to high heaven on me.

What I do wear daily is a very light body spray by Avon (that they no longer make and I had to buy a huge stash of LOL). It's in their Naturals line and is called Sea. It's the ONLY body spray I've ever found that I can spray on and NOT have an asthma attack. It's very very light, and the smell is very fresh and clean. Like stepping out of a shower. So far I've never had anyone comment about it being too heavy (and I've got some pretty blunt friends LOL).
