X.O.
A size 40A bra. Really, not all plus sized girls have big breasts. I seem to be able to accumulate fat everywhere else on my body, except for in my breasts.
I am plus sized and even with a 40 lb weight loss, I lost zero in my cup size even though I went down 4 inches in my bra band size.
I would pay nearly any amount of money to find a skirted tankini made with an underwire bra with adjustable straps in my size!
I found a swim bra on herroom.com but it is just like a bikini top! I am NOT showing my belly! All the tankini tops are less support or are halter. My neck can not take the strain of my chest size on it, I want a skirted bottom as they just look better on me and need it to be tankini because I am long waisted. Okay to summerize:
underwire
adjustable, non halter straps
tankini to cover my diabetes tummy
skirted for my hip/thigh area
In case you just think I am crazy because you have seen hundreds of these, let me know when you find one in a 38J! Thats a size 18W with a18W top with a size 26W chest. Im thinking of checking with Livi Rae store from Double Divas to see if they can help!
So what is your "Why hasn't someone made one of these yet?" wish?
I know Matt P. wants to find a pair of shiny pink leggings with a leapard print top for his favorite woman! JK Matt!
Thanks ya'll! I was starting to think that I was the only woman with fitting problems!
Sara H@ a diabetes tummy is a tummy that got bigger because of diabetes. It is where we tend to gain easiest and lose the hardest. I gained there for 3 years before my Dr. noticed and tested me. If I had known that it was the cause, I would have requested a test much earlier! I love zulily and occasionally find bras in my size there at a huge discount! (but swimsuits-no)
LoveMyLittles and AV; Thanks for the suggestions, but those companies size their swimwear as 18, 20, 22,24 etc. I would need an 18 band and a 26 cup so I would either end up with boob spillage or zero support. Thats why Im having so much trouble.
Jane@ Bravissimo is great! They have them! I just wish the tank parts were not so snug on the waist. (and they are cheaper than herroom!
I may see a seamstress local or check with Livi Rae (Double Divas)

Petite jeans that are long.
I'm 5'6 but short-waisted. I would love to buy clothing with longer arms (petite button-front jackets fit great but sleeves are way too short), and petite pants that have a longer length.
An invisibility cloak.
;)
A tank top with a built in bra that offers real support for a D cup.
Way to go on the wt loss!
I want cute shoes for a wide foot with a tall instep.
I can walk in to DSW, warehouse full of shoes and go down the isle looking for a wide sticker first. Locate, maybe 3 possible 4, out of that 2 might be something I would wear. Then they have to fit low enough on the toe box to fit my high instep. Same thing if I walk into Belks, with their $80 shoes.
Ordering off the Internet is a recipe for disaster. I need to try them on!
Am I the only one who comes out of shoe shopping in tears?
They probably do make them but cost way too much or not within my area. A t-thirt that is comfy, not see through, and does not get wider the longer you have it. Seriously, why are women's t-shirts wider instead of longer.
My favorite t-shirt is a maternity t-shirt because it is longer.
Kind of the same thing but in sexy lingerie. I would love a pretty baby doll nightie, but I need one that has decent straps and at least 3 hook and eye closures for the top but doesn't look like a breastplate at the same time.
Also, shirts that button up the front for girls with a bigger bust. I wear a 38F but my rib cage is smaller. I wish I could find a button down top that had the room in the chest so that when I raised my arms it didn't pull at the buttons, causing me to expose myself. If I find one, it's too big in the rest of the shirt and I look like a giant blob with a uni-boob.
Congrats on your weight loss, and let me know if, when you find this dream tankini, if they come in smaller sizes too. Underwire + tankini+ wide shoulder straps + adjustable in every way + inexpensive would be great. I'm on the smaller size, 5'1, 130 lbs, with double Ds. Looking for something with enough support, coverage to keep me from being exposed by wind/ surf/ and a very wriggly 2 year old.
Good luck to you and yours,
F. B.
A sleeveless, boat-neck dress with a nice swirly skirt that actually fits my bust line. I hate it when I find something I love on the hanger and then just can't squish the girls in there! And I am only an F.
I have to second the button down shirts and underwire tankini as well.
I would also like shorts that do not show my underwear both because of the cut of the waistline and the ridiculously short hem that are also...here's the kicker... not past my knees! Why are there no pencil skirt length shorts? Must I have either Daisy Dukes or boxy Bermudas??
i have always wished i found leather boots that fit nice and tight my skinny calves (to wear with skirts or dresses). i came close this year, found beautiful leather ones but the heel is close to 4 inches. have yet to wear them but love how they look in my closet :)
Perfect Jeans. They must:
1. Not sag down whenever I sit down
2. Be the right length so I don't need them altered - even the "short" lengths are still inches too long for my 5'3" body
3. Cost under $75
Contact the Double Divas. They can create anything for big busted women.
Can't remember if it is TLC or Lifetime. They were on The View today and was very impressed.
I will not even dignify that last comment by making any remark at all, my favorite woman. But I do hope you find your tankini...'cause I want to see you in it.
A swirly full circle dress coat
Nice jeans that fit right off the rack with my 26" inseam
Have you looked at sites like Modcloth? They might have something interesting. Or Speedo? http://www.speedousa.com/family/index.jsp?cp=3124324.###-...
I'm 5'9", 135lbs, and have a 36" inseam. I'd love to find yoga pants that aren't too short and too large in the waist.
Cute shoes, not expensive, in a size 12.
Along with slippers and socks.
a cute pair of dorky "farmer" overall shorts. haven't looked in ages but last time i did i couldn't find them. something to throw on over a swimsuit, or over a tank top for some gardening time....yep. (find them all over, but NEVER in plus size. don't know why?)
have you looked at swimsuitsforall.com?
What is a diabetes tummy. That word stood out because it is blue and underlined.
I have not seen that, but my guess it google. Zully is another website that has various items for kids, maternity and plus size. Oh, maybe a maternity shop.
I want jeans that make my extra 30 pounds disappear. I haven't found them yet.
I also want a new pair of wingtips like the ones I had in high school...black and white, cute, with ROUND toes, not pointy, and chunky soles. Sigh.
not sure you will find luck here, but Bravissimo.com specialize in large cup sizes with adjustable straps. Not sure about their tankinis.
I have to say, Last year Macy's did have what you have described... check em for this year.. They had this whole section devoted to plus size and the suits were very cute... Many Tankini with the skirt..
Simple tee shirts that are long enough to come passed my waist band. I know there are out there, after all models are like 6 feet tall these days and they have shirts that come down far enough. But in the store... noooooooooo. They are all about three inches too short.
Have you looked at a lingerie store for your bathing suit. Often they will have styles for harder to fit women, but they will be pricey.
have you tried Lands End?

Bunny ~ they have petite and D thru DDD cup sizes.
