None. I've never had one that wasn't dry and disappointing. I'll be watching the suggestions here to see if my opinion can be revised, but I've never liked them.
I'm entering a Bundt cake contest at work and am wondering what people's favorites are? I have a lemon pound cake that I make that tends to be my go-to Bundt cake but figured I'd see if anyone has ever had one that they really remember and thought "this is the greatest Bundt cake ever!."
I can probably dig up a good recipe if a suggested cake sounds good but if you have a recipe link, please feel free to include that.
Thanks!

Not usually a bundt cake but I am fond of Guinness chocolate cake

My MIL makes an amazing Apricot Brandy pound cake. I don't know the recipe though...
You're gonna think this is crazy, but it is amazing!
1 yellow cake mix (I like the kind with pudding in it already)
2 small boxes or 1 large box instant chocolate pudding
4 eggs
1 cup oil
1-1/2 cup water
1-12 oz bag chocolate chips (not minis)
Mix first 5 ingredients as you would for any cake. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour into well greased bund the pan. Bake at 350 for 55-60 minutes until knife inserted off center come out nearly clean.
It's delicious! And maybe award winning ...
My favorite is a Pillsbury Devils food cake, chocolate frosting, and whipped cream and strawberries. Cut it in half, frost the middle, put in a layer of strawberries, then put the top back on, then, frost the whole cake. Put cool whip on the top and inside the bundt hole, and top with Strawberries. Put it in the fridge as long as possible, overnight is best. SO moist and yummy!
Sock it to me cake. It has cinnamon, pecans and browns sugar swirled in the center of the cake. Very good. My aunt makes an apple cinnamon bundt cake that is really good.
I used to love the Tunnel of Fudge Bundt cake, but the original recipe called for a fudge frosting packet that they no longer make. I know that there was a recipe revision without the frosting, but it just wasn't right the last time I made it. Being that it calls for nuts and they are an integral part of the recipe that can not be omitted, I haven't attempted to make it again since my daughter can't have nuts.
I also used to have a recipe for a pound cake that called for cream cheese. It was yummy too.
Ok I think this is a bundt cake - it goes in the pan with the tube that comes up the middle and is a circle. It's incredibly moist and rich. I make it for every birthday and celebration. It's not dry at all - it's almost wet it's so moist.
It's called Easy Chocolate Cake:
4 Tablespoons cocoa and 1/2 cup oil - mix in bowl
add 1 cup of hot water and 2 cups of sugar - mix well
Stir together (in another bowl) 2 cups flour, 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt and then add to first bowl
Add 1/2 cup sour milk (add 1 teaspoon lemon juice or vinegar to milk)
Add 2 eggs - mix well
Bake at 350 for 40 minutes for tube pan (** I always have to bake 10 minutes longer in my oven - so I personally bake for 60 minutes.)
Cool in the pan and don't invert it to cool it.
Then you frost it with rich chocolate frosting. I usually make my own but I have used the premade stuff too in the can.
I then put smarties or m and m's or whatever topping on it that the kids like (but that's for special celebrations)
Oh and I lightly grease and flour the pan before putting the cake batter in
I'm not a bunt cake fan.
They are always too dry.
I like a nice moist cake - and carrot cake with a good home made cream cheese frosting is my ultimate favorite!
i'm all over your lemon pound cake, girl. mmmmmmmmmmmmm.
