I don't particularly care about celebs. Beiber is another teen boy that everyone loves even though he takes advantage of the law and such, but honestly who cares?
Sarah Palin, people just don't like her. Maybe she sounds like she doesn't really know issues like she should or she's a woman or she's too aggressive. I'm sure they have their reasons. Who knows... no one is going to like everyone.
And as far as women candidates (I see responses about women against women), I base my vote on individual people not gender or race. It makes about as much sense as black people saying Obama is so great b/c he can help us. (though he is not technically black I have heard the statement). I'm not going to be for or against a candidate because she is a woman. If she ran for pres, I would look up her criteria and vote based on research. From what I've seen she gets tongue tied on specific issues like she doesn't really understand the topic she represents, but maybe she just needs communication training like Obama (hate him or love him, he's a great speaker). I also think it's funny hearing about Obama ruining the country (I'm neutral with my opinion of Obama) because it's actually congress that has the majority of political power in that dept, so if the nation is getting worse start replacing congress... another president does NOT solve the problem no matter how great they are.
@bobbi, wow that's ridiculous. I hate when people do that kind of stuff. If you don't like them then you don't like them... but ya don't treat em like that.
I guess I'm just very individualistic that way. I don't base anything on gender, race, etc. I'm very person to person on that stuff. In every day I try my best not to stereotype fashion trends (that's where my weakness lies is cosmetic things, like baggy clothes vs suits, and mohawks vs clean shaven).
