it sounds like it just has to run it's course, but lotions will help contain it and make it less uncomfortable. Good luck and God Bless.

My daughter has KP also. She's covered in bumps all over her face, arms and legs. I also had it but as I got older the bumps got less and less severe and have almost gone away. We just pretty much ignore the bumps. They're here to stay. There is no treatment.

The bumps don't cause problems if you just leave them alone. My daughters bumps are the same color as the rest of her skin and don't show up in pictures. She doesn't even notice she's got them.

Along with the KP comes sensitive skin. We only bath her every other day. We only use very gentle natural soap and only on parts of her body that are dirty. I don't put any lotion on her and she wears all cotton. We only use petroleum jelly for the occasional diaper rash.

I recommend you just ignore the bumps and don't put anything on her skin. You've just got to accept her as being a little bumpy. By the time she puts on her wedding dress they'll be all gone.

I ditto Danielle. There is a resolution to this and also many things the doctors tell us we can't do anything about. Renew is THE superior lotion to anything else on the market. I use it on my 91 year old Dad that is in the nursing home. His psoriasis is completely gone. It not only moisturizes but because of it's ingredients, it heals as well.
