M.Q.
I prefer to shop at Kid to Kid so I take my clothes there that way you can either get cash for clothes or store credit which it more than cash.
I've never taken my children's clothing to a resale store before.
I'm in Flower Mound and am debating between taking my daughter's clothing to Kid to Kid in Highland Village or Once Upon a Child in Flower Mound.
Any opinions either way? Good or bad on the process at each location?
Thank You!

I've used Kid to Kid in HV and they are very nice there. Be prepared to not get a huge amount of money, I was kind of disappointed the first time I sold stuff, but it is better than nothing :) Do call first to see what they are accepting, as mentioned by a previous poster, to save yourself some time.
I have been to the Once Upon a Child in Flower Mound. You take your stuff in and leave it and then they will call you and you pick up the rejects on the same day. Or you can go early when they open (10:00) and shop and wait for them to go through the stuff. They will give you a check for what they accept, and you can also apply some of their offer to something you want to purchas from their store. If you do a trade, then your purchase is tax free. Then take the balance in a check. If you do not like their offer then you can take all your stuff with you. They give the same amount no matter what form of payment you choose. They do take bags of stuff...you just slip them in one of their bins upon arrival, fill out a form, and you are good to go. Pretty simple!
My first suggestion is to wait for a Just Between Friends sale, but I totally understand if you don't want to do that. (www.jbfsale.com) It's a lot of work although your return will be much higher than what you'll get from either place. Otherwise I recommend Kid to Kid, both are picky on what they'll take but I've had far better experiences with Kid to Kid than OUAC and specifically the store in Flower Mound. Make sure you call and find out if they're taking your sizes/seasons and you might want to set an appointment for your drop off if you have a lot of stuff. The process for the most part is you fill out a form, leave your boxes or baskets (they don't take bags of stuff) they go through everything and then call you with your offer sometimes it takes an extra day depending on how busy they are. Generally they offer more if you take a store credit instead of cash.
Love Kid to Kid, you can drop off anytime pretty much and they give you a decent amount if you have good stuff. I have sold at both but Kid to Kid is cleaner and I love buying things there also.
I learned the hard way that whatever K2K offers, they will force you to take it. This happened to me at the K2K in Valley Ranch. I did not like the offer the girl gave me and she said I had signed an agreement. I felt a little taken aback by the response.
