We have been with Dr. Reidy since she opened Schoolhouse. My daughter is now 14 and she has always treated her with respect, addressing her instead of talking with me as if she wasn't in the room. She is so approachable and open to alternative ideas. It has always been easy to get an appointment and the wait is never very long.
Her office reminds me of the way doctors USED to practice (good customer service) and I remember because my oldest child is 35.

We LOVE Dr. Reidy at Schoolhouse Pediatrics! She's wonderful with my children, super smart, warm, and caring. She's also very open to new ideas and stays up on all the new info. She's happy to follow an alternative vaccine schedule and went out of her way to order the separate MMR shots (when they were available). She even came in on Sunday to see us! Plus her entire staff is lovely. I highly recommend Schoolhouse!

We see Dr. Reidy at Schoolhouse and she has been great. She is open to alternate immunization schedules, if that is what you prefer, and offers preservative-free vaccines. She's also very warm.

My kids have been patients of Dr. Reidy since they were born (now 6 and 4). When my oldest was born Dr. Reidy was in NW Austin (which is where we live) but now that she is in Westlake we still drive down to see her. We love her because she is so caring and thorough. One cool thing about her new office is all of the records are entered online so if you call after hours the doctor on call has your latest information. And the doctor on call carries the after hours phone with them so you don't get a nurse you get one of the doctors and no matter where they are they can pull up your child's file and talk with you about it.

All three of our kids are patients at Schoolhouse. Their primary doc is Dr. Cardwell, but they see whoever is available, so we have gotten to know all three doctors really well and love them ALL! Over Thanksgiving, one of my twins developed a horrible rash while in Houston and I was on the phone with Dr. Reidy several times thru the weekend and she was AMAZING - when we finally made the decision once home to take him to the Dell ER, she was about as nervous & upset as I was. When we saw her for the follow-up a few days later, she was crying right along with me and hugging me. I can't say enough about this practice - they are all 3 wonderful people with huge hearts and care more about the kids individually than about the number of kids they can see in a day. We are so lucky to have them.

Both of my children have been patients with Dr. Hamilton since they were born (son 8, daughter 3). She's wonderful. No nonsense with a wry sense of humor (dig deep, it's there). Her staff is kind, responsive and helpful. Her new (to me) PA, Darcy is great too. And their sick hours (I believe 8:30 AM - 11:00 AM) are a true blessing. I'm a worrywart - I take my kids in to see her if they even seem a bit off kilter to me, and the entire staff has always taken my concerns seriously.

We use Dr Tarrant and like her very much. It is never a long wait and its a pretty easy in and out well check visits, but she spends time talking to you and you don't feel rushed with her. For us her office is also convenient and close, which was a factor in finding a Dr, since I didn't want to be driving all over town.
hope this helps.

I cannot say enough about Schoolhouse Pediatrics.

We have been with Dr. Jennifer Cardwell for 4 years, and we followed her to Schoolhouse Pediatrics when she formed it with Dr. Reidy and Dr. Hutchens. All three are fabulous. They are warm, approachable, available, and easy to talk with. The best thing about all three of them is the way they interact with my daughter. They explain what they are going to do, what they need her to do in order to examine her, and they ask her if they can approach her before they do. After the exam, they tell her what they see and what she needs to do to feel better. Then, they will tell us about prescriptions and treatment options.

Dr. Cardwell wants to know what my husband and I think and what our concerns are. She thoroughly explains everything she is thinking and what her decisions are regarding diagnosis and treatment. When she needs to refer us to a specialist, she calls the specialist for us and schedules the appointment, describing our daughter's personality and strengths first, then why she is referring us to him/her.

The front office and the nurses are amazingly friendly and compassionate. When we call for urgent appointment, they always find time for us to come in that day, with minimal waiting once we are there.

Overall, what I most appreciate about the entire office and practice is the high level of collaboration and teamwork. The doctors work seamlessly together and, therefore, no matter which doctor is your primary pediatrician, all three know your child before they walk into the room.

Yes, we have used Dr. Tarrant and she came highly recommended. We were pleased and like the fact that she does not push antibiotics unless absolutely necessary. Its a no frills office (not lavish by any means but comfortable). We recently left because we have an older son who was more comfortable with one of his sport coaches who is a Dr. in Westlake as well. I will say however that Tarrant in thorough and kind, accessible and has daily'sick hours'which is a big bonus. I have heard positive things about Dr. Hamilton as well.

We also have been with Dr. Hamilton since my children were born (they are now 5 & 7). I agree with the other poster - she is no nonsense, practical, listens to concerns and I never feel dismissed even when I have overreacted. Her staff is very personable and always remember what is going on with my children - don't feel like "just another patient."

Best,
S.
