Does anyone know if the library here in Dedham has story hour for children? Also, I was told that you can sign up for free tickets to the acquarium and zoo through the library....is that offered at the local library? I am new to the area and haven't been able to visit the library yet.
I live in Randolph now, but I used to live in West Roxbury, and I love the Dedham Library (in fact, my son still takes karate lessons in Dedham, and while we wait for his class to finish, I plan on taking my daughter to hang out at the library). Anyway . . . not only Dedham, but other libraries offer discount tickets to museums and the aquarium.
Hi Alexandria,
You can get those passes through Boston Public Library (any of their branches) and it's easy to do, just bring a piece of mail with your address. I don't know about the Dedham Public Library. Have you checked them out online?

Yes, the Endicott Library has story hour and so does the Blue Bunny in Dedham Square. I do believe the Libary's still offer the free passes. Subscibe to the Dedham times. You will find all your looking for right in the paper.
Good Luck!
