Sounds like an obvious question, but I guess you don't have BBQ sauce? My Mom would also mix tomato soup with worchestershire sauce and relish for a sort of "swedish meatball" sauce.

S., Barbaque Sauce and the crock pot or a fondue bowl is great. We make these when people come over its fast and super easy. Just throw them in until they are hot.
take bacon and rap it around then put then in a baking pan put brown sugar on them and bake till crisp they are so good
I use ketchup & grape jelly for my meatballs.
I've used bbq suace on them. I've also wrapped them in crescent rolls. I've served them mixed in with baked beans.
I have cooked them in barbque sauce on the stove in a pot. I have also used honey mustard.Good luck!
My kids love piggies in the blanket...these are great for lil piggies. I cut a crescent roll triangle in 4s (just make 4 smaller triangles) and then wrap. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes. You will need 2 packs of crescent rolls to use up one pack of smokies.
You could make them in to "pigs in a blanket". I usually use Pillsbury biscuits and cut them in to 1/2 or 1/3 and wrap them around the little smokies and then bake them. You can also make dough with bisquick and do the same thing. Then serve with ketchup or mustard. They are a great snack, and everyone loves them!
I make crescent dogs with them and freeze them. Pull them out for lunch with your kids.
We always do ours with BBQ sauce, possibly also a tomato sauce/ketchup and coke mixture.
What we do with the little smokies is we heat them in a pot with barbecue sauce. Whatever you may have on hand or like. Just heat till warm. We really like this recipe. We had it for New Years and snacking at Christmas. It's one of our favorites. Hope this helps.
I take a package of cressants and cut each creassant into thirds. Then I wrap the sausages in them and sick 'em in the oven...not for very long though, then I make a honey mustards sauce...yummy!!!
a day late, but ketchup and grape jelly works too.....
if you have crescent rolls, wrap them in the rolls and bake them according to directions. My kids love them!!!
Hello...someone gave me this recipe for smokies...yummy one too, finger food...wrap your smokies in bacon, place toothpicks in them , put onto cookies sheet and drizzle honey and brown sugar over them, bake them at 350 for half an hour and then place them into a crockpot and put on low for three hours...putting a little more honey and brown sugar on them....each smokie takes half a piece of bacon. Any rate...yummy snack and finger food for you.
