I am very concerned about this man my mom married. They did not know eachother very long and they got married. He told my mom he had been married twice before but I have heard that he was married 6 times before. I am trying to find a web site to check Texas and Arkansas marriage records but I cannot find one. Does any of you know where I might find one. I am scared this man is lying to my mom and I cant stand it. Thank you!!

This will take you to Texas records you have to right click on the year and save target and then they open as a note pad file. Click edit and click find and type in his name so that you do not have to search all records. Good luck

I think this is the same line someone else offered. Texas marriage and divorce application records can be downloaded by year. Once the list is in "notebook" you can "ctrl" "F" and search for a name.
If you are concerned he is lying to your mom and you want to protect her then you may want to do a background check. Background checks can be tailored to find out specific things about someone's background. It will cost you some money, but may be quite affordable in the long run. Besides it would give you some peace of mind as well, right. Be prepared, though. If you find something bad and tell your mother, she may not believe you or she may become defensive in order to protect him. After all, she does love this man. Just type in the words background check in your search window and see what comes up. Most churches, schools and day care workers require a background check before they are hired, simply because they are working with children.
