I have found the 2T-3T sized panties fit my small 2yo (she's about 26 lbs). Hanes worked well. Once you wash them, they will shrink down and fit just fine.
Does anyone know where I can find panties small enough for an 18 month old? My daughter is in the potty training process, and no I'm not pushing her she started on her own. She started saying potty one day and dancing front of the bathroom. Anyways I'd like to get her panties, but all I can find are diaper covers small enough. What do moms of early trainers use? My son was trained at 2 so finding underwere for him was easier. TIA
@ gramma g, I fully think she's ready. She tells me she needs to go and will go. She wakes up from sleeping completly dry. and aside from a few times is dry all day. My son was fully trained day and night by 2. He hasn't peed or pooped his pants since. I started him around the same age my daughter is, Don't be jelious because I have early trainers. 😉

I used the Gerber training pants until my daughter could fit into the 2T underwear. She was an early trainer too. The 2T will likely fit now. They sell those at Target and JCP
They still sell training underpants, they are cotton just a little thicker. I would check Target, Babies r us and Wal-Mart.
Target has some panties in the infant section that I think go down to 2t
We use the Gerber training pants.
Gerber runs small. See if their 2T trainers would fit.
my tiny daughter fit into size 2t/3t panties no problem.. target or walmart sell them with dora or princesses.. or whatever..
Agree with person below - unless she's really tiny, even the 3t/4t underwear will probably stay on her just fine. At that age they are usually chubbier than an older child. My 2 year old likes to wear my 4yr old's
I've seen them in the Children's place. Good for you that you're going w/the flow of your daughter. My daughter did the same thing and I didn't go w/it. I wanted to keep her a baby for as long as I could. She would have been completely trained so much earlier. We do our children a great disservice by not going w/what they basically are trying to teach us; and this is, yes they can be potty trained or at least start.
I think Macy's too. They are so cute and tiny. I can't believe how small the undies are. I know where my mother shops. She buys most of my daughter's clothes. It's her pleasure. I went to Target and Walmart but she mostly sent me undies from the places mentioned above.
I'm pretty sure Gerber Training Pants come in an 18 mo to 2T size. They are just thicker than most panties (not plasticy or anything).
My oldest is very small for his age, and we bought Gerber for him. He calls them his "Super Soft" underwear.
No, she is not cognitively able to do this. She is interested but you'll find in a few months that she has no interest and won't be potty trained any more. Put some pull ups on her and let it go. I don't mean to say negative things but lots of kids show an interest but that doesn't mean this window won't close in a few days then she'll have no interest at all and will be back in diapers until her brain is more developed. She may hold onto this skill but it's not very likely.
