I need to know of a local flea market or fair etc., where I could be a vender this spring for big items in OKC/Edmond area.I moved to OKC almost 3 yrs ago to buy a house then my parents were to move in with me. My mother became suddenly seriously ill and passed away. My father spends time between my apartment and my brother's house about 3 miles away. I cannot afford a house after my mother's expenses, nor afford the storage for all our property. I need to sell books, collectibles, etc. thank you for your advice.
Old Paris is a good place!! It is off I-35 and Eastern they are open Friday - Sunday!! There is also Mary's Swap meet in Mid-West City, not sure of the hours... Hope this helps
You could always list the items on craigslist.org. It is like a huge online garage sale/flea market! It is free to list items on there and people can come to you to pick them up or you can meet them somewhere. My mom just used it to help my grandma with a moving sale, and they had great success!! Call Waterloo Auction, ###-###-####. They will buy your items and even come pick them up. Less hassle than going the flea market route.
I think the closest flea market we have to here is on Eastern, south of I-40. You might do better having a local garage sale or two. Edmondites are frenetic bargain hunters. :]
