Look for a Lego or Lego-compatible Table

My son has just discovered the joys of Legos. We'd love to get him some type of storage/building table for Christmas this year. I have fallen in love with the KidKraft 2 in 1 activity table- it's a train table on one side and lego compatible on the other...but I don't love the price! Anyone out there know where I could find something comprable- but more affordable? (I'm wanting something for standard sized legos)

What can I do next?

You might check at Target. I see them every year, and they are the Target brand, right at when Christmas time comes around. I think they don't have them all year round.

i see those occassionally on craigslist. i got a GREAT train table with 2 drawers for $25 once. now that was a lot cheaper than usual, so i bought it when i saw it (3 months earlier than i needed it). but yes, i've seen those lego tables on craigslist. good luck.

I have a regular lego table that my kids have outgrown if you are interested. I live in Keller.
