I remember a day when bakers square used to be the only place to go to get the best pies made fresh and now that they are no longer around, I have no idea where to get a pie from. I don't like pies from the grocery store. Does anyone know of a bakery that makes pies?
There is a little breakfast restaurant that makes great pies called Kel's Kitchen. They just opened one in Richardson, but the original is on Forest Lane near Inwood Road.
I do believe Stein's at LBJ and Preston makes some pies.
And Denny's actually has some good ones.
I don't know about Frisco, but Outta the Oven in Las Colinas sells fresh baked pies. They used to be a Celebrity. Don't know if Celebrity does this or not.
