Any suggestions on where to go to have a 1st birthday cake made? I'm looking for a good bakery, not something from a grocery store.
I had a difficult time finding a place that would do artwork. I actually ended up at Costco and they did a beautiful job, exactly what I wanted for just $14.99 for a 1/2 sheet!!!!! The cake was fresh & delicious. All of our guests raved about it! Thanks
This place called Cake plus in napverville did an awesome cake for my son... a 3-d TRAIN cake! It was fantastic! And it was good.. they can usually make anything you want. a bit pricey, but you can't get stuff like this anywhere else!

We just had our son's first birthday party and had an awesome cake! The bakery is called "Italian Bakery" it is located on Lake street in Villa Park. I got him a number 1 cake that was so beautiful! They were referred to me and I was so pleased with the cake, service and price I would highly recommend them!

Cakes Plus is the place to go in Naperville. We got a special baptism cake from this bakery and it was delicious and everyone loved it!
Every time a special occasion cake is needed, I use The Upper Crust bakery in downtown Lisle. 1045 Burlington Ave, ###-###-####. Usually, I bring the invitation in and ask them to match it. They are great at asking questions-they always want you to get exactly what you are looking for-and the cakes taste fantastic. I wish I could attach a picture of my daughter's 2nd birthday cake-an exact replica of the ladybug from her invitation-absolutely adorable.
