I highly recommend Dr. Sharon Callison at TN Valley ob/gyn. She realy takes time to listen to you, and her staff is great as well.
Can someone recommend a good OB GYN doctor in the Huntsville, AL area? Thanks!

Dr. John Wheeler with Clinic for Women ###-###-####. He's great!
There are a lot of great OB/GYN doctors in Huntsville.
I go to Alabama OB/GYN and think Dr. Tallent is a great doctor. He has a good sense of humor, too.
If you prefer a woman, I have heard good things about Dr. Callison. One of my pregnant friends is seeing her right now.
I know you will find a good one.
I have 3 friends that had terrible experiences with Dr Callison, and after seeing her in action at the hospital, I'd never recommend her to anyone. I had Lopez (great during prenatals and TERRIBLE at the hospital), Rushing and Wheeler (both good, but practice was too large, but I thought they were really good until...), then Dr Conrad who was by far excellent. People think they're Dr's great until they go to Conrad. The only reason I switched from Rushing to Conrad was because I wanted to go to a smaller practice where I knew everyone and everyone knew me, but it turned out to be SO much more. He has the BEST bedside manner of any Dr I've ever met in my life. He's a strong Christian man (with 5 kids of his own) and it always shows. The people I've sent to him have absolutely loved him far beyond any Dr they've dealt with, and some thought they're previous Dr.s were the best but had to change for whatever reason (insurance, not delivering anymore, etc) until they went to him and were so glad that I talked them into going to him.
Good Luck with whomever you chose!

p.s. He's a very empathetic Dr because he has children of his own. He grieves over miscarriages with the parents unlike many Drs who will announce the loss very coldly.
Sharon Callison is good, she listens as you would like a Dr to and we all know some men don't, but she is extremely busy.
Dr. Richard Harris is also good although he has BIG hands!!
Dr. Aulds delivered 2 of my sisters kids and performed a Cryosurgery on me, nice man.
I was not impressed with Dr. Tallant; I was trying to discuss my pain and infertility with him but felt brushed off.
As you can tell I have jumped around quite a bit, but I have gone thru alot of female problems, surgeries, infertility, endometriosos, fibroids, adhesions, cysts, etc. and most of the above list have projected the same brush off feelings sooner or later when I express my distress of not being able to get pregenant, which is why I change.
I suppose I expect alot from a Dr. now and am actually thinking my next choice will probably be Dr. Wheeler whom I have heard good things about.
Try the Clinic for Women ###-###-####). Also, All Women's ###-###-####). UAB Health Women's Center is also very good ###-###-####). Good luck - we are most fortunate that we have a medical school here in Huntsville.
I have been going to Dr. Patricia Miller, next to Hsv Hospital since I moved here 13yrs ago. I have had one child, unfortunately she was not on call that weekend so was unable to deliver, but have gone thru 2 miscarrages w/ her and she has always been professional and kind. She is in practice by herself.

Dr Conrad is awesome! My kids were born in NC so have not used him in that regards but everything I hear about him is good.
John Cemino was my doctor. He is absolutely terrific.
