Looking for a OB/GYN - Minneapolis,MN

It's a drive but I saw Dr. Hamman at Park Nicollet in St. Louis Park, right by Methodist Hospital. He has about 40 years experience and was very calm about my blood pressure issues-- not lax, he's a very serious doctor, but he didn't get all panicky like many of the younger doctors did. I felt my care with him was excellent. The one downside was that he doesn't deliver, but I did find that being the high blood pressure mom trying the vbac, I wound up with the best nurses and doctor on the floor while in labor.

I recently found a new one - her name is Tess Barrett (I think that is how her last name is spelled), and I saw her at HealthPartners in Coon Rapids. I think she works out of different offices, though. I didn't see her for a pregnancy, but she seems to be very competent and caring. Good luck!

I also go to oakdale OBGYN. I love Dr Shannon Harris. She delivered 2 of my children and I wouldn't go to anyone else. She is so caring and takes the time to make sure your informed.
When I first went to their office I saw anyone and just happened to get Dr Harris. She was the one that finally listened to me and took action for me to have a safe delivery.
