here I m again , firts of all I like to thank to everyone whos take the time to help other moms. Well Im 37 weeks pregnant I lve in norman but my doctors is in okc, so my daughter pediatrician too, but shes almost 6 and very healthy so besides the pregnancy I dont go to often to the city, and I wish to find a pediatrician close to us for the baby, you know; appointments every 2 months , we are new in town so I dont know anybody to ask.
Dr Betty Harmon in Norman is outstanding. We live in Mustang, and all three of my kids (now ages 20, 19, and 15), grew up with her, and we travel that far just to see her.
I take my son (he's 13 months now) to Dr. Milligan at Norman Pediatric Associates. He has been our Pediatrician since the day Trevor was born at Norman Regional. There are 4 docs there and they are all FABULOUS. Our friends' kids and our niece go to Dr. Kuhls there (but he isnt taking any new patients) and then there are two women Dr. Jackson and Dr. Stacy. I don't think you could go wrong with any of them. The facility is clean and very kid friendly, and all of the employees are so nice. You can also call any time for questions, and on the weekends there is usually someone on call or they will forward to Children's Hospital in OKC.
There are three groups that you might really find to be excellent. Dr. James Fields and Eileen Fox, M.D. are near the old Norman Hospital on Porter. Dr. Michael Milligan and his group (Dr. Stacey, Kuhls, etcc., are on Wall Street behind the Sonic on 24th Street and Robinson. Also, Dr. Victor Wilson is on the same street, but in practice alone. He has a playgound at his office. These groups are all excellent and I'd go over and meet with them and decide which is a better fit for you.
Dr Victor Wilson is one of the best pediatricians in the Norman Oklahoma City area.
