Hi M.,

You can try Storkie.com, I found that to be the best one for me. I'm going to attache the link for you.

If you are interested I can do pretty much the same as that site for about half the price if you are interested.
You can email me at ____@____.com://www.storkie.com/c-64-photo-announcements-ba.aspx

Hope this helps!

I'd suggest checking out www.etsy.com. It's a marketplace for handmade items, like e-bay for crafters, and you're SURE to find something unique there! A lot of sellers will work with you to do custom work, and there are sellers in every price range.

Last summer when my daughter got married we were in a hurry (only had 3 months to plan the whole wedding because her fiance was being deployed) and on a very tight budget, so I went to vistaprint.com for the wedding announcements, invitations and thank you cards. The first 10 of each were free (pay shipping only) and the rest were very inexpensive. If you order 10 or less you only pay shipping. I was able to put my own pictures and wording on them. They came out great and everyone complimented us on them. They came with the envelopes also. I have also used this site for business cards.

You can really just go to any online photo gallery...when my last son was born I placed him on a blanket and took a picture of all of his 4 big brothers looking down at him, turned it sephia toned and wrote a message about our new addition(it was a huge hit)....lots of cards you can add several photos...you could take pictures of all babies "parts"...hands, feet, nose etc...you could really get creative, people just really want to see the baby!

vistaprint.com don't use the regular invitations that are more expensive.. when u go on the site just use the notecards.. I bought 100 cards w/ the envelopes for about 40 bucks.. or less. the notecards have a back and front and u can design it yourself. U can put picture in front w/ the information like time date etc.. On the back u can put the directions and type it yourself.
Also, I even had an upload of my daughters picture.

Hi M.,
If you have created the announcements cards yourself, it depends on the size you have created.
I do card design myself and sell most of my stuff on eBay and online. For DYI printing, the best resource is Usually WalMart. The cheapest and easiest way is to create a 3.5x6 image. Once you're done, size it to 4x6 with the excess 1/2 inch blank. send it to Walmart or another printing place. Once they are printed, you can cut off the excess 1/2 inch, and they easily place inside regular envelopes which you can get good ones of for $2-$3 for 100 qty.

If you want to go a little more fancy, you can use Mpix. They are great with templates, or DIY. I love the 4x8 sizes, especially because they come with envelopes.

Hi M.-

I have a custom photo invitation and announcement company, www.picturesqueinvites.com. I offer custom designs, or you can pick from the ones on my site if you like one of those, and you have the option to buy just the design and print them yourself or you can order prints from me. Check out my site and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask. My prices are really competitive (I think cheaper than most other companies), and you can use the coupon code NEWCUST for 10% off!

Thanks and good luck!

I went to the card shop and found a really nice one then copied it for my first born (a girl). I was lucky my husband is a printer so he had the shop make them up for us. I still have one if you want me to scan it and send it too you.
With my third son I bought the Hallmark card program, custom designed them and printed them out on decorative paper. It was cheap and came out beautiful.
Hugs,
T.

Hey M. -
Lots of people have had great suggestions. My friends have used most of the ones that others have listed. My only complaint was that two of my friends used Peartree and though the announcements were cheaper then many, the quality was also cheaper. The pictures turned out grainy and so did the colors and one friend was disappointed about the quality. Maybe the images weren't as clear as they thought they were when they uploaded them. I don't know what happened.

Here's where I eventually got mine and I have no complaints. www.simplytoimpress.com
The best thing is that you can print on both sides which really helped me since I had lots of pics I wanted to include and this allowed me to include another pic and message on the back.

Here's another site that has lots of independent designers with unique designs (like on etsy) but a little pricy. www.minted.com

Here's one other that has super cute designs (but pricier). http://www.smallfri.com/
I loved their designs but a lot of them are squares and squares require more postage if they're in a square envelope so it made the postage more as well.

Good luck.

Hello M.,
I'm currently living in Bali - Indonesia. I'm supporting a group of local women (they have to finance the all family including their children, parents and grandparents with an average income 70$ per month each..which is nothing even here on the paradise island).
they make great cards using local fabric ..sort of batik with beads. I think they are really pretty, elegant and different from the usual card.
my purpose is to help them and not to make any profit....I consider this a sort of fair trade. If you are interested just let me know..I'll forward a picture to you.
anyway...happy birthday to you!!!M. (____@____.com)

I just ordered mine from www.peartreegreetings.com. They are beautiful and I found them very reasonable. My husband is a graduate student and Im a SAHM so we didn't have a lot of room in the budget. I was VERY pleased with the value!
