I am new to the area and don't know anyone yet. I need a sitter for about 2hrs on Saturday afternoon. Does anyone know of any daycare centers or drop in childcare centers open on Saturdays?

I do not know of any centers, but I would be willing to watch someone for a few hours on Saturday. I have 2 kids myself; 1 yr old son and 4yr daughter. I am always looking for ways to have extra dollars. Let me know.
Hi, I live in the area too and have a 14 month old daughter. I'm usually home on Saturdays with her. So, if you would like to meet up sometime, we could get to know eachother, and I could watch your child on Saturdays. Or, if you would like to just meet new friends, that would be nice too :-) How old is your child?

Adventures in Babysitting offers services Fri and Sat nights. If you call them they may be able to get you a sitter for the afternoon. Good luck. I know what it's like to not have anyone to watch your child.
