I am searching for a Fort Worth doctor who can monitor and deliver my twins at Andrews Women's Hospital. I was seeing Dr. Mickey Hooper and I had a horrible experience with her.
I am 28 weeks and searching for a new doctor. I would prefer one who does not refer me to a specialist. Even with Aetna insurance, it is very expensive to see two doctors. I know Dr. Lisa Gardner monitors and delivers twins on her own, but she does not deliver at Andrews. Any advice would be so helpful! Any moms with twins out there?
Is there a particular reason you want Andrews Women's Hospital ? I know of several great ob's but they don't deliver there.
My OB was Dr. Lori Atkins. I didn't have twins with her (I had c-sections, though), but a good friend of mine did and liked her. And I'm pretty sure delivers at Andrews. Anyway, she's great if you want to give her a call! The number is ###-###-####.
Dr. Bannie Tabor is awesome! He is an OB in the medical district (by Cook Children's and Harris) and only sees high-risk...those with multiples or those with problem pregnancies.
I honestly cannot tell you enough wonderful things about him! But...not sure if he delivers at Andrews. I know he does at Harris. I had my son at Harris and the nurses and staff were incredible.

I second Dr. Atkins if she does deliver at Andrews. She delivered my daughter and I love her.If I ever have another child, Iwill be having her as my doctor. A friend of mine as well used her as her dostor and loved her as well.
I am soooo glad you left Dr. Hooper. I delt with her a couple of yrs ago with what ended up as a miscarriage. I would not let her touch my dog now.
As a previous poster said Dr Bannie Tabor is wonderful. You have to be ok with a dry wit and strnge bed side manner but he is awsome in the doctoring sense. His nurse is great also. He does not deliver at Baylor though. I had him after the miscarriage and had a wonderful healthly baby boy in November of 2008.
