I sue Aphogee Gloss Therapy. It is at Sally's and is pretty cheap. You can usually buy a small tube of it and if it works then you can buy the small bottle. I love it, it makes my hair so shiny and the frizz is gone too.
Need an inexpensive hair product to help me tame my medium textured frizzie hair. I've tried several but this time I thought I'd put my money in one that others have tried that actually works!! Thank you for your help!

I use a lot of the bed head products. They have a cream (pink bottle) That I use before I straighten my hair and it works like a charm. It's about $13 a bottle, but I use such a small amount that it lasts me forever! Sometimes paying a little more upfront, saves you in the end.
I use Pantene Shampoo & conditioner for curls to start with.
After I wash my hair I spray in the Leave on conditioner from John Frieda.
On dry hair I spray on the Dream Curls from John Frieda. I get these at Walmart and they are all good priced. They work for me. Good luck....
I use a silicone based product to tame my hair when it gets frizzy. There are TONS on the market- at any price range.
My latest thing is to work with it. I put some hair gel in and let the curls stick together. It is currently in style (for once- LOL).
I finally found products that work! pureology smoothing shampoo and the conditioner. I use the pureology brand mouse too. good luck:)
I love ic hair polisher (http://texasbeautysupplies.com/fanicinhairp.html). It keeps back the frizzies and protects my hair from the heat of the iron and the sun.
There are several I like, I use a silicone based shine drop both when hair is wet and dry, mop glisten drops, one by loreal (can't remember name, bottle is orange), moroccan oil, and I also love John frieda's frizz ease secret weapon smoothing cream for when my hair is dry. A good pro hair dryer and a natural bristle round or paddle brush can help too!
Try www.naturallycurly.com. They have a fantastic message board - you can figure out your curly hair type and then see what has worked for others.
For me - ditching the shampoo worked great! I have been washing with baking soda and apple cider vinegar since 2005. My hair used to be a frizzy mess and now it just naturally falls into frizz-free ringlets.

Frederic Fekkai brilliant glossing cream. Yes, I know it's expensive, but this little 7oz tube will last you about a year.
Only use a pea-sized amount. Literally. And I'm talking a SMALL, baby sized pea. you just rub it in your hands and then rub your hands in your damp hair. Then dry normally. It's a miracle, and makes your hair so soft and silky. It also doesn't leave a greasy look like the silicone ones sometimes do.
