I take music for ardvarks in hoboken and we love it!!! my sonis obsessed with the cd and makes us play it all the time.
I am looking for a music group to join for my 15 month old son. Has anyone gone to Music for Advarks in either Astoria, Forest Hills or Sunnyside/Woodside? Are these classes worth signing up for?
First, I would like to thank everyone for their responses. My son and I have joined the mommy, music and me class. This class seem to fit best in our schedule. We started this past Tuesday and he seemed to really enjoy it and I only expect it to get better.

I have my son in a Music Together music class. He is 15 months old as well. Here is their website:

We have the music together CD in our car. My son loves to clap his hands and pat his legs to the beat when we have his Music Together CD on in the car.
I have attended one free class for Music for Advarks. I think they are both good. I chose Music Together because it focuses on teaching kids the basic principles of music. You should try to attend a free session for Music Together and Music for Advarks before deciding.
We have Music Together with a teacher named Jeff. I love that he incorporates into the music class whatever my very active son is doing (like everyone bang on your legs like Brandon is doing).
Good luck with your decision.
Look up go city kids for infant classes (infant and beyond)Just look up go city kids NYC.
Hi, I haven't heard of the one you mentioned but Mommy, Music and Me has classes at a church on 41st Street and Ditmars Blvd. You can find it on the internet. I am not sure of the website. Hope you find the one you are looking for. I am in Astoria also and am always looking for things to do. I have almost 18 month old b/g twins.
