Hi all! I just found out I'm pregnant. I think I want to find a new Obgyn. My current OB has super long waits, and I'm just not sure I want to go back to him.

Any references? I'm in Kaysville, and looking from here to Centerville, or Layton.

Thanks!

~S.

All of my kids were delivered by Craig Hurst. I have no idea if he is accepting new patients or not but you could give him a call. He is in the building right there on the corner at the intersection by Davis Hospital. He is really laid back and generally a funy guy. He delivered my sisters boys as well and when he wore sandals to the delevery we all joked his feet were going to get wet. they did. lol

Hope it helps and you find someone your comfy with.

My OB also practices at the Tanner Clinic in Layton. He is wonderful! I hope he never retires! I'm not sure what I'll do when he does. His name is Mark Bitner! I am happy to give you more info. about him... if your interested.

Dr. Craig Hall at Layton Tanner Clinic has delivered all three of my kids. Two high risk pregnancies and one normal pregnancy. When I went into preterm labor with my son at 25 weeks, he was on a flight back from vacation and came straight to the hospital from the airport. He called and checked in with the nursing staff several times while he was in flight to check my progress and give further instructions. He also found the cancerous tumor in my thyroid during my first prenatal check w/ my last pregnancy. I owe him my life. He has an excellent bedside manner and his nursing staff is great. I was referred to him by many of my husband's coworkers and wives 8 years ago.

I have the best OB in Layton. I am also in Kaysville. He is a midwife however he is GREAT!!!!!!!! His name is Dale Hardy he is at Generations OB/GYN. He has delivered 4 women in our family. He is kind, gentle, and he is with you through everything. I was a high risk pregnancy and it was him who saved my sons life. He is a miracle worker. I very very very highly recommend him. He even impressed my husband who is really hard to impress. They got along so great! He was trained in the military and moved here from Alaska. Again a very great man. He even opened the office one night when he was supposed to be hosting a Christmas party. His wife came and watched my children for me while he took me back. I was in labor for the umpteenth time. I have so many stories but I don’t want to take all year telling them. Good Luck! I hope all goes well.

Hi S.,
I just had a baby 6 weeks ago and loved my Midwife. Her name is Gretchen Fawcett at Rocky Mountain Women's Health at Davis Hospital. I only had to wait when she had someone in labor and they always notified me if that was the case (which I appreciated since I would have wanted her to take her time with me when I was in labor), she always took her time in our visits, and I never felt rushed or put off. She's lovely, I highly recommend her!!!
