I'm looking for suggestions on a shuttle service to get my son from home in one suburb to school in another suburb 40 minutes away (post-divorce arrangements...). I looked online but couldn't find any companies that transport kids.

Hi my name is M.. The only place I know of that transports kids back and forth is "kids cab" I don't know if they will drive that far or how costly it will be but you can give it a try. They are in Downers grove. I don't know their phone number, you will have to call information. Good Luck.
There is a great service in the San Jose area called Kidscab Daycare its a mom's dream. If you have one child in their day care your child plus sibbling ride for free.They pick them up after school and take them where they need to go with no charge like; base ball, ballet,dentist appointment, to my work for a lunch visit. I love it and never charge me for getting to the daycare late, you know what I'm talking about that $1.00 dollar a minute. They will be opening new ones soon in Santa Cruz, Palo Alto and Fremont. Ask them about your area. The best part of their program is $15.00 dollars within 12 miles distance and $25.00 dollars within 30miles. They have arrangement for custody pick-up as well.
