Make sure whatever recommendation you receive that you are able to go to a store and try it first. My friends and I all like different ones for different reasons as my leg stride is longer then some and I would hit the front of shorter ones. Some would also cause me back pain because the rails were too short. Look for your comfort and then read reviews on durability. Most stores these days will deliver and set up either free or small fee. With one exception sears at least the delivery charge quoted yesterday for a delivery added 69.99 to a purchase....seemed a bit steep.

Sears will deliver and set it up. They did a great job on my NoricTrack Proform. My stupid x husband tried to assemble one and we had to PAY Sears to come fix it. It is worth the fee and Sears will back it up.
I started to buy one online after I moved across country. Over 100 complaints were filed with the BBB about treadmills arriving shattered.

Treadmill sensei, has good reviews. I bought mine from smooth, they delivered it free, It needed no set up at all, open the box and unfold.
Mine was $700
