We have several openings available in the area earning $300-$500 per week. We are seeking only honest, self-motivated people with a desire to work in the home typing field. You can work from home, full time or part time. The preferred applicants should be at least 18 years old with Internet access. No experience is needed. Training is provided. However, the following skills are desirable:
-Basic computer and typing skills
-Ability to spell and print neatly
-Ability to follow instructions

Hi there A.. I was a stay at home Mom for 1 1/2 years and did medical transcription from my house. Although I only had 1 account I was very happy and still busy doing it. Since my account was with my old boss I charged him a much lower fee than most MT businesses. It kept me busy and brought a little extra cash into my house. I work in the physical therapy field and it is a very seasonal practice. Since they are located next to Leisure World I'm sure you can guess that most of our patients are snow birds. So, the summers are a little slower than October through say Arpil. I have discovered this doesn't seem to be the case with other practices.
I took a course that you can do at home through a company in Phoenix. The lady who owns the business is Debrah. She is very nice and is always available via phone or e-mail if you have questions. The company name is A to Z Transcription. This is their web site: http://www.medtranscription.com. They have all the info you need on the course and even guarantee you a position if you complete the course. Now I know that 3 years ago the course was pretty expensive, around the $600 range, but if you are really interested in doing transcription it is worth it since you are guaranteed a placement.
