J.,

We have a four 1/2 year old autistic son, a 15 month old daughter (appears to be typically developing) and a newborn. I stay home and have an in-home daycare, so if you'd like to get together, I'd love to meet your little boy.

Hi J.,

My stepson is about to be 2, he isn't autistic but he does have agenesis of the corpus collosum which puts him behind on learning due to a portion of his brain not being developed before he was born. With lots of love we have now gotten him to where he crawls, tries to talk and is learning to walk. I know it's not the same as autisim but would love to try and get the boys together to get them both started on interacting. Jacob has a 10 year old brother and teenage step sisters but he hasn't been around children his age if you want to try and get them together please let me know as I too am wanting Jacob to have someone he can be friends with.

Hi J.--

I just read your playgroup request on Mamasource. We have a son who will be three at Christmas time. He's not been diagnosed with autism officially, but he may be on the spectrum. My husband is a stay home dad, and we've put our son in Montessori school four mornings a week to give him some socialization. They've been very accomodating so far, but he's quite a bit behind--primarily in speech. I don't know if we can work out the playgroup thing with our little guy already in school, but I'd definitely like to share information with you about what kind of interventions you're using, resources in the area, etc. We're with ECI at the moment and are doing the gfcf diet (aaagggrrrhhh!)

My home email is ____@____.com please email me if you'd like to share info, or if you get a group organized or find one--let us know and we may be able to join.
