We are looking for a mortgage company that doesn't charge an origination fee or has low closing costs Does anyone know of a good lender who's fees aren't outrageous?

I use Capital Mortgage in southfield, I have been with them for 4 years and they are wonderful. Always taking care of us and making sure we are getting the lowest rate. Even during all this crazy mortgage mess they are always on top of things. They really know the Michigan area so I would give them a call.

Hi K., Congratulations! I went through John Adams Mortgage in Dearborn. My contact is Randy Hassan. He was excellent. I was a first time home buyer who had so many questions. He even called me at home at night to see how I was doing! He offered different rates, showed me how the rates would affect my monthly costs, my closing costs, everything! For me the slightly higher rate (7%) worked in my best interest and my monthly differnce came to only $14 per month. I had a lower closing cost and so I wasn't house poor. He is located on Telegraph Road just south of Michigan Ave. You will definately not be disappointed.
