That is a very touching story. You should feel very lucky to have her around. Thanks!
My grandmom is now almost 91 yrs old and I am 42 yrs and I feel grateful that I still have her. She exercises 3 times a week at the gym she belongs to.
When my grandmom went into labor with her first child she had just recently moved from Poland. She was very self concious about her speech. So when she went into labor she delivered my uncle her first child all by herself. Then she cut the umbilical cord. Then she went down the hall and call the hospital for an ambulance.
My grandmom is my inspiration. I am so proud of her. She is a doer. She keeps herself busy and active.
Well she occasionally stays with my husband and I and our three kids. She resides about one hour away. She is in great health except she just started wearing hearing aids. She still has more bounce in her steps then some people my age. Plus nothing is too much trouble for her.
That is a very touching story. You should feel very lucky to have her around. Thanks!
What a blessing you have in your life. And what a blessing YOU are in sharing this story.
In good health,
Lori
Good stuff!!!
My mother walks 2-3 miles a day on her treadmill. She lives in and solely upkeeps her 2700 square foot home. She also does all lawn care on her two acres, in the Texas heat. She just got permit to carry a gun...yes, folks, you read that right...much to my dismay.
She travels regularly and could out walk most of my friends....and has already paid for my 3 year olds college tuition.
She is 70.
Arent those folks great!!!!!
Kudos to your Grandmom and kudos to MY Mom!!!
