Before delivary my both brests are same size. My son taking the milk both sides, when he was one month old. After that milk production stops on my right side. Eventuvally right brest becomes smaller an left one become big. I am still feeding him left side. If i stoped feeding, can i get my boob back to the normal. Please help me.

When I breastfed one side was always much larger than the other and had much more milk than the other side. When you stop nursing and milk production ceases they will go back to the size they were before you had the baby.

There's nothing you can do--that's just the way we are made. If you notice, your arms and legs are different lengths, one foot is bigger than the other, both eyes are shaped differently, etc. It's just part of the way God made us.

I think you should keep feeding your son for as long as you can because it's giving him such a healthy start in life. Your breasts will get back to normal once this special time in your baby's life is over.

That said, I think you should also keep things in perspective. My right breast is a whole cup size smaller than my left. It doesn't bother me. Why? because the size difference was the result of two lumpectomies and radiation treatment for breast cancer. It means I am a survivor -- so far. And although I could have surgery to get the left side reduced to match, I've been told the surgery could cause scar tissue that will make a mammogram hard to read. To me that's not an option.

Be happy that you're healthy; that your son is healthy. Keep a sense of humor about your body's quirks and let go of vanity. In the long run life is what matters.

You have to get milk running through the right side. It may become painful if it doesn't get moving. Pump or latch him on the right more often and it will come through. I am sure only you notice this.
