As of midnight on May 2nd, our 16 (almost 17) year old son is missing. We've contacted the police, missing children agencies, everyone we know and the local news media. We've made a website http://www.yournetpass.com/ and have posted bulletins to myspace and Craig's List. We'll be making fliers and already have area stores alerted. But what else can we do to spread the word? I am not able to physically get out to go hunting, but my husband and another son have been. Please share with me any ideas you have for helping to spread the word. We're desperate to find him!
Just for the record, there is no indication he has run away and every reason to believe he has not. If you look at the website, you will see some of why we believe this is not a case of him running away. His birthday is six days away and he was looking forward to joining the Army as soon as he can.
Thank you to those who wrote, prayed and sent good thoughts our way. John is home safe and sound and we know that it is because so many people helped get the word out that we were able to have him back home when we did. He was missing for a terrifying 39 hours.
