K.,
I don't want to be rude here, but taking the advice of a bunch of mom's with no medical background is not the smartest thing I've ever heard. My hubby is in medicine and I just don't understand how people can just "not feel like" going to see a doctor when they notice something abnormal. Or the moms that get on here and explain odd symptoms they or their kiddos are having and asking the community to tell them if they should go to a doctor. The other day there was a post from someone who's kid was definitely having a seizure, but instead of going to the ER, they posted on mamasource to get advice...?My hubby had an uncle that felt like that and was diagnosed with late state prostate cancer that spread to his bones because he ignored other symptoms. Many things can manifest in low back pain...one big one that goes undiagnosed until way too late is a relation to pancreatic cancer and other disorders. I'm not trying to scare you...perhaps some "stretching" would do the trick, but don't you think you owe it to your kids to just go to a doc to make sure??? I hope it turns out to be nothing and you find a way to be comfortable! Good luck!
