I've got a couple friends who are 3rds...I definitely recommend a nickname as it can get confusing! One of them is called Trey & I've always liked that...but another idea might be Trace (a takeoff on the Spanish pronunciation). I think it's so neat to have a 3rd! My husband has his father's first name but a different middle name so that's just confusing!! Plus it's my dad's name - so I wasn't going to name my son Robert too! We already have a Bob a Rob & a Bobby! I wish you luck & well wishes for all that you have to come. I'm jealous!!
Trez or Tre (Tres - Spanish for three)
Hi L.,
I have a friend who was a third also and he went by the name Trey. i always liked that everyone called him that. thought you might find this helpful.
Yeah, Trey means three...not very original, though because I know of 4 Treys who are III's...three in German is Drei and in Dutch it is Drie. Something pronounced like "Drey" might be cute... Good luck on your new arrival!!
I worked with a lady that was in the same situation. She and her husband called her son Trace, which is tres in Spanish, which means three in English. I thought it was cute! Good luck!
Trinity, triple, or triad. Just some ideas.
Congrats on the new baby ,

Another Trey!! I know a couple of thirds called Trey, and I think it's cute!!
I have a fourth generation son and we call him Treyson. My husband is the third, and goes by Trey so we call my son Treyson. It could probably work for the third too. Happy Holidays!!!
