I am starting an online publishing business that converts documents into flipping books, for product catalogs, ebooks, etc. and I'm having trouble coming up with a name. (This is an online service - not for print) Everything I've thought of so far is already taken! I wanted to call it Book It! but that's ready being used by a travel booking site. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
There is a web service called 99 designs (www.99designs.com). They use to offer contests for logos but now they also do names.
Basically, you explain what will your company be about, the feel you want for the name, customers... and you give a "prize" (money). Creative people will work on it and give you suggestions. You favorite is the winner and gets the prize!
Even if you don't like any of them, it can give you more ideas.
I would pose this question to MarketingProfs on their taglines forum. You'll get lots of good responses from professional marketers, etc.
