Does anyone know of a good all around doctor in the Flower Mound/Highland Village area? We are sort of new to the area. My 64 year old Mom is having blood pressure trouble but doesn't like her doctor. She would love to have someone good who can do all around physicals and GYN checkups too so she just has 1 doctor. Any advice on who is good (or NOT good) in the area?
My husband and I use Dr. Kathryn Simon at Baylor Family Medicine in Parker Square in Flower Mound. We really like her.

I had an emergency late one day last year and my Dr's office was already closed. Not wanting to go to the ER, I stopped into a neighborhood Pri Med Care office that was near my home. I am so glad I did. Dr. Chandra is wonderful! She is very kind, soft spoken and really takes the time to listen and to help. She is a full service office, GYN, internal med, family med. ###-###-####

We go to the same office where Sandra Adair is but see Matthew Roberson. He is agreat doctor. He takes the time to sit and talk and answer all your questions, never feel rushed. My husband likes him too, which is saying a lot since he is a typical male that doesn't like going to the dr!
Check out Dr. Joclyn Dunham....she is awesome. Will spend whatever time is necssary with the patient so you have to be "patient" with her if you are sitting waiting on her! She is in Flower Mound... S.
My family has used Dr. Tilley who is in Highland Village. He is a good general doctor but I don't know if he does gyn checkups. He is usually pretty easy to get an appt. with. I have also seen his partner Dr. Swanholm who I liked as well. Their office no. is. ###-###-####. Good Luck!
I had Sylvia Slezak and she really is through. I had a stroke the day we moved to Tx and was in the hospital for a week. Then went to her and she made sure I had all my blood drawn every time. She does milk the insurance for all it is worth but I am alive today. It now has been 12 yrs and I am recovered from it. Doctors here in Ft Worth do not do urine every time or never do the breath machine which she did. Some of the things she did do was if I was to go to a heart specialist she would hurry and do the EKG before she sent me there leaving them nothing to do. She does most everything and if I complained or were concerned she would send me to specialists but I would soon not go back to them. She is hard to work for as she can not keep help. The Doctors here are open until 7pm and Sat is why I go here and it is close after I moved from Double Oak six years ago. So if you have good insurance she keeps you healthy. G. W
I would recommend Dr. Chris (Schlottmann) at Flower Mound Family Care Center. He's a DO and not an MD so you get better care imo :) He knows manip (that's the main difference between DOs and MDs although Dr. Adair doesn't practice manip at all) and performs it when needed which is REALLY a huge benefit because he'll do that to help aches and pains first and then if that doesn't help he will prescribe what's needed. I have seen Dr. Adair as well, who is also at his clinic. They are both good, but like I said Adair doesn't perform manip and I prefer manip to drugs if it will work. Dr. Chris did just get the doctor of the year award too :)
